The opening ceremony of Mariam's solo exhibition will be held at the Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life of Gyumri (Dzitoghtsians Museum, 47 Victory Avenue) on May 26, 2pm.
35 sculptures, including 13 fabric panels of her large-scale sculptures, and 20 oil paintings will be on display.
The exhibition will be on view from May 26 to June 2, 2010.

Mariam’s several sculptures are currently on display at the exhibitions around the town commemorating the 95th anniversary of Armenian Genocide. The sculpture “The Souls of Children Still Wander” (pictured to the right) is exhibited at the Artists’ Union of Armenia (16 Abovyan street). It depicts three children starved and dehydrated from a long march to the Syrian Desert, Der Zor. “Gates of Heaven” (pictured below) is also on display at the Artists’ Union. At the exhibition held at the Armenian National Gallery (1 Arami street) organized by Ararat Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenian Genocide Museum and Worldwide Association of Armenian Artists, the sculpture “Requiem” (pictured below) is on display. The first edition of this sculpture was presented to the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. by the Armenian President.
At the exhibition held at the Yerevan History Museum (Yerevan City Hall, 1 Argishti street) organized by the Ministry of Diaspora, “One Nation, One Culture” Foundation, Union of Armenians in Russia, Artists’ Union of Armenia and Noah’s Ark Art Gallery (Lebanon), Mariam displays the sculpture “Loss” (pictured below) which depicts a mother crying for dead child.

Mariam Hakobyan's solo exhibition will be open to public from September 2 to September 12, 2009, at Artists' Union of Armenia (16 Abovian Str., first floor). More than 140 sculptures, paintings and graphics will be on display. The opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 4pm.

Since 2007 Mariam Hakobyan has been designing unique
art jewelry. These works combine the national symbols, themes and forms of her sculptures, as well as colors of her paintings. Art Jewelry is created using silver, bronze and various gemstones. Mariam Hakobyan's sculptures and paintings were on display at Artbridge Bookstore Cafe (20 Abovian Str., Yerevan) on April 16-18, 2008. Artbridge Bookstore Cafe also hosted the presentation of the book of her artworks on Thursday, April 17, at 5pm.

Mariam Hakobyan's book of artworks is finally published and can be found on the shelves of local bookstores in Yerevan. It can also be ordered online
here. The book presents Mariam's minor and monumental sculptures created throughout her professional career. It walks you through the different stages of her artistic development, exploring a dazzling range of themes, shapes and lines. The book also features
an article about Mariam written by an art critic Rouben Angaladian.
